About Us

Hello! Welcome to the new and improved Everyday Environmentalist!

We are Lisa and Brian Salerno, a couple in our late twenties with a two-year-old daughter. We live in central Connecticut in a modest but cozy condo.

The goal of this blog is to chronicle our adventures in being green while saving some green ($). We have always been nature-lovers and have attempted to live conscious lifestyles, but in recent times we have been actively seeking ways in which we could reduce our “carbon footprints” and leave a better world for our daughter while getting through these tough economic times.

We’re not always perfect when it comes to our attempts at living the green life, but we believe that “it’s actually pretty easy being green…” regardless of what that famous frog seems to think…

On this blog you will find posts about our own experiences living a greener more eco-conscious life as well as fun and interesting green resources, articles, recommendations, and money/environment saving tips and tricks that we gather-up along the way.
